Century Next Bank has been ranked the No. 1 overall performing bank in Louisiana in the Bank Performance Report’s second-quarter 2026 rankings, placing first among 104 Louisiana financial institutions evaluated.
The Bank Performance Report uses multiple financial measures to assess bank performance and produce an overall composite ranking. Century Next Bank’s top statewide ranking reflects the bank’s dedication to financial strength, disciplined management, and focus on responsible growth.
The recognition also speaks to the stability that allows Century Next Bank to serve individuals, families and businesses across the communities it serves.
“Strong performance matters because of what it allows us to do for our customers and communities,” said Mark A. Taylor, EVP-CFO of Century Next Bank. “It gives us the ability to invest in relationships, support local businesses and help people move confidently toward whatever comes next. This ranking reflects the discipline and commitment of our entire team.”
According to the report, Century Next Bank reported approximately $916.4 million in total assets for the second quarter of 2026. The Bank Performance Report draws from FFIEC Call Report data and evaluates financial institutions across measures that include earnings, asset quality, efficiency, income and other financial indicators.
For Century Next Bank, the No. 1 ranking reinforces a broader commitment to pairing financial strength with personal service as customers plan for major purchases, grow businesses, build savings and prepare for what comes next.
“Our customers place a great deal of trust in us, and a ranking like this raises the bar for what they should continue to expect,” said Bill Willson, Century Next Ouachita Parish Market President. “We intend to keep earning that trust by staying financially strong, making sound decisions, and remaining focused on the people, businesses and communities we serve.”
